My Students
I teach a group of Kindergarten students in Camden, New Jersey. Teaching in a low-income area shows me the challenges my students face in and out of the classroom every day. The students in my class need materials for more purposeful learning.
My students are learning foundational skills needed to be successful in education.
They are a group of high-energy, inquisitive students who are eager to learn about the world around them. They are enthusiastic about school and are always eager and ready to learn!
My Project
We want to fill every shelf in our classroom with books! My students need lower level books to help struggling readers in the classroom and give students choice on what they want to read. These books are perfect for my students with options of what they want to read.

These books will give students choice of what they want to read. If they like fiction or nonfiction or what sparks their interest, this donation will have a book for everyone. Soon every student will have a book on hand when we fill our shelves!
