Fairweather Friends

Help me give my students a weather station to keep up with the ever changing weather on our campus and to learn about weather patterns.

My Project

Our school is a unique school for many reasons, one thing that people might not realize is how different the weather is out here compared to closer to town. It is not at all unusual for the temperature to drop 10 degrees in the winter just driving from my house out to campus. Other days it might be clear skies in town and raining here at our school.

I would like to set up a weather station and connect it to Weather Underground here at our school.

This project will serve several purposes; obviously it will give TPSA families real time access to what the weather is like on campus, but it will also give my science students hands on experience to learn about weather, climate, and energy in the environment. I am asking for TPT gift card to acquire science resources for my students, as well as a Logia 7-in-1 Wi-Fi Weather Station and a Weather EZ-NPP Tripod and Mast Assembly Platform and some batteries.
