Fairly Odd Fairy Tales

My students need a collection of 14 fractured fairy tales.

FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Pope's classroom raised $190

This project is fully funded

A friendly giant? A Goldilocks that returns to the bears' home to remodel? My inner-city fourth grade students are beginning to love reading. Most students know traditional fairy tales and enjoy hearing a twist on a classic. This upcoming year, I would like to read a variety of fractured fairy tales during our read aloud time.

I take pride in my classroom's library, and I am constantly adding new books. I love to read and work hard to get my students to fall in love with reading. I've found the best way to get my students to love reading is to have lots of high-interest books for them to get their hands on. I also know that my students' love of reading grows during our read aloud time. Unfortunately, my school doesn't have the funds to update my classroom library - that falls on my shoulders (and my wallet).

I would love to have a collection of fractured fairy tales to add to our classroom library. I know the students would love to hear the bizarre stories during our daily read aloud time. The books would also be available for all students to read during independent reading time.

Please help enrich our classroom library. By donating, you will help our library grow and will help students grow a love of reading.
