This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I love that my students are so creative. They enjoy role playing in the dramatic play area and bringing experiences from home to school. By having a dollhouse and a Lego table they will be able to interact and engage in meaningful conversations and role playing using these materials. Giving the students a chance to express their creativity through the use of these interactive centers such as the Dollhouse and Lego table will foster their growth in group play, turn taking and positive social interactions. The use of the wooden Montessori manipulatives and toys are essential in fostering children's learning without over stimulating them.
