My Project

My students are energetic and enthusiastic about learning. They work hard daily to improve their reading and math skills in my classroom. Next school year, I want to provide my students with additional flexible seating options to increase focus and allow autonomy over their learning.

The students in my classroom will truly benefit from having flexible seating choices that meet their sensory needs while they learn.

In this project, I have included various seating options that can be utilized during instruction or independent work. For example, wave seats will allow students to move during instruction. Floor cushions will provide my students more options to move around the room with lap trays. My students will also be able to use a wiggle cushion at their desks to allow movement for independent work. The goal for my students is to give them tools to discover how they work best and to take ownership of their learning!
