Fabulous Fish Tank

My Project

Our library fish tank is a favorite calming spot for many students but it is looking drab. We need to replant and clean the tank up. This project will allow us to replant live plants which will help oxygenate the water. New substrate will allow plants to flourish and provide safe hiding spots for our baby fish. Currently our air pump is over ten years old and unable to keep up with this size tank. This project will allow us to replace the air-stones, lines, background, and pump. This will also increase O2 flow for plants and fish.

Since our aquarium is a favorite place to visit, we want it to be a calming, soothing, pretty space.

Some of our students struggle with mental health and are working to use their coping skills. The fish tank offers a soothing space when students have BIG feelings.
