My Students

As an educator in Northwest Montana, on the edge of the Flathead Indian Reservation, in a low income, high poverty, and a transient town I see all sorts of students come and go, and it is heartbreaking.

But it is also amazing to see the students grow, be it through educational experiences or just through the friendships that they make, we also see a positive tangible change in all of our students that partake in our F1 in Schools program.

Educational experiences like F1 in Schools allows these students to grow academically and socially. This is also an opportunity for them to gain career development and polish skills that they have been working on all through school.

My Project

Because printing car parts and consumables for F1 in Schools requires a lot of filament, the flexible filament that we are seeking will go a long way to helping these amazing group of students produce the best and fastest car to date.

By using a gripping flexible filament, the tires on their F1 in Schools car will hold better to the track than a plain PLA 3d printed car.

The consumables at the pit display will all be made using the 3D printer to help market the team to the colleges, businesses, and recruiters that attend the national event. This is all for branding and marketing.
