This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are creative, thoughtful and full of questions! They absolutely love hands-on, active, engaging projects and challenges that allow them to think outside the box to find solutions! They come to school each day ready to try new things and take brave chances in order to grow both personally and academically. Truly, they are my inspiration!
My Project
Phonics is a basic and essential skill for small students. They are in need of the ability to decode and encode words. Students will practice encode and decoding words so that they can independently read books on their own. Students will benefit from having these engaging and fun activities in their classrooms. They will use their letter sound knowledge to create and manipulate words. Students will also maintain safety if they are able to have personalized sets. We will love to have games and activities in our classrooms that support literacy.
