Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My group of preschoolers are amazing! The majority of my students are four years old and are familiar with a school setting. They work well together, take turns, and are excited to try new learning experiences. Both boys and girls enjoy working all the centers in the classroom. They have quickly captured what it means to follow rules, be kind to one another, and be good listeners.
Each day my students surprise me with their creativity and willingness to help each other and demonstrate kindness, as well.
They enjoy all that the school has to offer from recess to music class.
My Project
Providing children colorful games and activities during remote learning is essential to working with my preschool-age children and having a color printer with card stock will allow me to provide them to my students. By printing colorful alphabet cards, rhyming cards, sequencing cards for stories, math cards, and science vocabulary cards on sturdy card stock will provide a plethora of learning activities and supports my children can benefit from. Remote learning can be engaging with the right activities students need just like these colorful and durable resources printed when we need to use them.
