My Project

Students in my reading class spend time reading every day. Many of them start the year saying they don't like to read. I want them to finish the year having fallen in love with books.

Since reading can be challenging for many of these students, I want to provide books that will grab their interest and make them feel successful.

Graphic novels are often the first stepping stone to becoming a reader. It's essential that I have a compelling, age-appropriate, and up-to-date classroom library that includes books for readers with a range of abilities.
