Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
In our classroom we believe in learning the most we can in various situations to become active and responsible students and eventually successful adult citizens in society. We strive every day to do our very best and break all stereotypes that are associated with us.
I truly believe that they can and will succeed despite what society, prejudice, or others might think about them.
I hope to affirm their strengths and give them the space to discover that they are capable of achieving their goals and meeting high expectations. My hope is to build a positive classroom culture where students strive for excellence every day, that take pride in their work, and that always have a "champion" mentality. I know for a fact that my students will become critical thinkers, strong leaders, and positive members of their local and global communities.
My Project
The resources purchased on Teachers Pay Teachers will take my lessons to another level! Following the district mandated curriculum can be boring and mundane for students. Having a gift card to Teachers Pay Teachers will allow me the opportunity to take my lessons to another level by incorporating more rigorous and exciting lessons for my students. Our students deserve the best education and that requires an interesting curriculum in order to learn. I plan on using these resources during reading and writing instruction so that students are able to learn better and enjoy themselves while learning.
