My Students
My students are fantastic! They come from a variety of different backgrounds, as diverse as California itself. We have a healthy balance of young people that helps foster a strong community of learning.
Students are growing more and more invested in social studies because of our country's political climate.
That gives me an unbelievable teaching opportunity in my first year on the job. I'm dedicated to foster their growth into future leaders. Leaders who are strong, knowledgeable, and respectful critical thinkers who powerfully advocate for their communities.
My Project
It's been one month since we started the school year! The job is everything I would've expected. Long days that are never lacking in either meaning and adventure. I'm so thankful for the opportunity to help mold young lives.
My first two projects were luckily funded in an amazingly fast time!
Unfortunately, a couple of items were unavailable after this website reviewed everything. Fortunately, that gives me a few extra dollars to play around with to enhance my room!
I'd love for my room to feel like a more conducive learning environment. The posters I have in my room are great, but I didn't realize how sloppy it could look if they were all simply taped to the walls. I really believe if my room had those posters framed, it'd contribute to a more professional look that encourages students to take their learning more seriously! I am requesting poster frames and command strips for my class room.
