Scholastic creates a Weekly Reader of non- fiction science and social studies themes that are engaging and developmentally appropriate for students. Themes of these magazines vary from week to week and introduce current events happening in their world in a way they can understand. My students will enjoy not only using these magazines to discover non- fiction text features but also help them become lifelong learners!
