My Project

I’ve known that I wanted to work with adolescents since I was one myself. Not to be that person, but as the elders once said, “I believe the children are our future.” And that often starts with reading.

Unfortunately, as I’m sure you won’t be surprised to hear, books cost money.

And I’m a teacher early in their career at a Title I school who…well, doesn’t have any. But what I do have is a community (that’s you!).

I know times are tough for all of us right now. So many of us are struggling just to scrape by. But if you’re in a position where you have even the tiniest bit of change to spare, that investment will go so far in changing the lives of not only my current students but students for years to come. Any and everything helps, every little bit helps! And if you aren’t in a position to donate, sharing goes a mighty long way!
