Help me give my students magazines that will contribute to their understanding of current events.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In the world we live in today students need to have an understanding of what is happening in their world today because events will have a profound effect on their futures.
Junior Scholastics offers articles about current events that are written for young readers to process and understand.
Students will be able to analyze events as they happen and contribute to group and class discussions. The magazine also provides tools for teachers to demonstrate writing skills. This is an election year and Junior Scholastics presents election events debatable issues, and candidates' views and explains the process of voting. As students learn about current events as well as the presidential election they will learn skills that will teach them how to debate, discuss, and write about issues important to them.
