My Project
My 5th graders have been involved in many different initiatives at school this year. They would like to highlight all of the great things happening at our school. Many school districts have taken current events out of the curriculum. My students would like to bring that back in the form of a school newspaper. The current technology that we have on our school-issued devices does not have newspaper print layouts, color printing, etc. With the purchase of these two computers and a color printer, students will have access to layouts and color printing and will be able to work in shifts to bring their dream of a school newspaper to life. If honed now, these skills can be developed into an honorable career.
