This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My classroom library is a place that my students enjoy visiting everyday. They read to their reading buddies, do work and read independently in this space. My students love to explore all different genres when they visit our classroom library. Every book that is placed in my library is treated with love and care. My students are grateful for the opportunities to read.
The display bookshelf would be a wonderful addition to our classroom library.
Monthly books will be able to be placed in an organized manner. It will be easier for my students to access the books and organize them when they are done reading. They will no longer have to shuffle through a book bin of books. My students have already shown a great interest in independent reading, and this project will only help enrich their experiences with a variety of books to their disposal.
