Scholastic News is a great way for students to stay up to date on important information in the world, while also supporting their progress in reading skills by providing an engaging opportunity to reinforce vocabulary and comprehension strategies. My 2nd grade loves to learn and Scholastic News will make it not only educational but fun as well. My students are amazing thinkers with wonderful potential and an eagerness to learn. They motivate me to be the best educator I could be.
My Project
The scholastic news will be passed out weekly to my students. We will have a chance to read it as a class and have discussions about topics being covered. My students will have a chance to review the information independently and in partnerships. The articles read in scholastic news will help them to with their comprehension. Many students in my classroom can not afford to purchase Scholastic News. This will definitely go along way by helping them in the 1st grade. Thank you so much for your support!
