My classroom is a place where students are challenged to think outside the box and to never give up. I always give my students an opportunity to succeed in their own way. Everyone is smart and is capable of doing anything they choose.
My school is an amazing place where every teacher believes in their students.
We do not have a lot of money, but this does not stop us from making a difference in our students' lives. Students are bused in from all over, and poverty is something we see on a daily basis. We usually pay for our own classroom supplies because not every parent can afford to help.
We do not have money for many expenses at our site; however, that does not stop us from trying to create the best learning experience we can for our students. Our school is small, with only about four hundred and fifty students in grades prekindergarten through fifth grade. Many of my students live in poverty and have real-life struggles, but all of that is forgotten when they walk into my classroom.

The world we live in is constantly changing. World records are being broken, new inventions are being made, and so much more!
Time Magazine for kids beings current events into the classroom in a kid friendly way.
Students will be able to learn about the world all around them and keep up with what is going on. The subscription I am requesting sends 4 different news magazines every month. My students will be able to learn new vocabulary and practice their reading while learning about current events. Time Magazine is a rich source of informational text that will support reading comprehension and knowledge across all subjects.
