My Students
My students have joined the School Newspaper Club. There are 18 eager students from grades 3, 4, and 5 who cant wait to interview, photograph, write, edit and design. It's our first school newspaper so we are all very excited. I'd like to make this as real as possible for my students. We are a diverse group, with students from countries all around the world. At our elementary school, we like to try new things and work hard to make them successful.
My Project
I am honored to be the teacher/facilitator for this brand new activity! My students will be learning about and performing the duties of publishing an actual school newspaper, all on their own. For this club, we need supplies!
I want the students to feel and act professionally, so, obviously, they need press passes to wear when they are working on the paper.
In addition, we need basic supplies such as scissors, neon paper, paper clips, erasers, etc. to get the job done.
For the "staff photographers" to print their pictures, we need a photo printer and ink.
Thank you for supporting our project so that our school can Read All About It!
