My Project
Our Student Government Association has resurrected our school newspaper and it's been very popular, but we've run into issues with printing. We have a colour printer at our disposal but it has been unreliable due to its age.
Replacing the malfunctioning part and purchasing additional toner would allow our students to continue to print the Mustang Chronicle and allow them to continue to experience and explore the power of an informed and empowered citizenry.
Our students are from all over Baltimore and many commute across the city in order to attend this school for one of the 20 vocational and technical career pathways that we offer. We are the largest high school in the city and serve a diverse student population including students from multiple linguistic, ethnic, religious, and socio-economic backgrounds. The newspaper is one place where we can highlight and celebrate all of these different backgrounds and experiences for all students to see and appreciate.
