Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Please help me to spread the magic of printing to my Calusa students. Printing has long been used to communicate and pass along information. I want to teach my students about the critical role that printing plays in history and how it can be used as an art form.
Using Gelli plates, acrylic paint, and brayers, my students will use pictures and letters from magazines and newspapers to create flyers, abstract art, and unique prints that interpret their ideas and characteristics.
This project will help explore the past, present, and future through print media.
