My students need a store pouch and tote bags to place their books after reading time. They need name plates for their desks and photo name plates for the bulletin boards.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
"Teacher,my plastic bag is broken again." This is what I hear every time my students read. We need materials to keep our classroom organized. If we get our sturdy supplies, it will be wonderful not to hear them complain about the plastic bags. My students will focus more on reading than broken bags.
All my students are English Language Learners and they come from different countries from around the world.
Although they are not fluent in English, my students are very motivated and willing to learn. They love reading time, but they don't have a good book baggie to place their books after they're done. They are five-year-olds who love school and love reading. I am very proud of the progress they are making, but also not having a book baggie is very disruptive when they need to clean up. My school is located in a high poverty area, and students can't afford to buy these expensive supplies.
My Project
Can you picture a child's face when they see their pictures around their classroom? Those little happy smiles make my day; that's why we need our picture frames. They'll learn to recognize their names and the pride to have their pictures around the room is priceless. Having these perfect book baggies to place their books after reading time is very convenient. I can imagine how my students will react if they get these materials. As an immigrant child, I remember how inconvenient it is not to have the necessary materials. Now as a teacher, I understand how students feel when they get new supplies; they feel very happy and excited.
Save us some reading time!
Getting the school supplies my students need will benefit them by making reading time run more smoothly. They'll be able to place their books in a strong book baggie and they'll feel less stress to put their book away. Also the name plates will make their room feel like home. They will learn to recognize their name and it's very beneficial when they leave to first grade. These supplies are very essential and important to them.
