My Students

A typical day begins with morning work and transitioning into common core learning. I want my students to be resourceful and keep great notes. I want them to become life long learners. Having the necessary tools for instruction is my biggest challenge. My favorite quote is, "Always do your best".

My school provides free breakfast and lunch for all students.

We are a title 1 school funded to support the low socioeconomic background our kids come from. The students are excited about learning and are eager to do what is asked of them during the academic day. Many come without the necessary supplies or enough supplies to get them through the school year. We need your help!

My Project

Students will create interactive notebooks for science and mathematics. Science will contain notes, experiments, and journal entries analyzing ideas and recording thoughts. Mathematics note books will be a concrete resource for students to refer to and achieve a level of pride in knowing they learned, created, and have a resource of skills for them to refer to. Students will learn organization and how to make transitions and find information more easily.

My students learning will continue to be enhanced as they learn accountability and work ethic during literacy, science and math times.

Transitions will be easier with limited interruptions for turning in assignments using the paper boxes. Students will have easy access within their groups, to handwriting and basic math information using the nameplate.
