This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are inspiring, no matter what they deal with they love to come to school. Many of my students deal with so many hardships at home and in their neighborhoods, but that doesn't stop them from wanting to learn. My students motivate me every day to go over and beyond to make sure that they are reaching their full potential. Even though many of the students deal with challenges inside and outside of the classroom, they still have big smiles on their faces. Despite those difficulties, my students still have the strength to take pride in their education.
Most of my students come from low-income families where they don't have resources to help them come to school prepared.
Even though my students deal with a lot in their day-to-day lives, they still love coming to school. My students try very hard and that makes me happy.
My Project
Hands-on activities are one of the best ways to learn something new. Many of my students are tactile learners, so it is essential for them to move objects, touch objects, and to have the ability to make mistakes and learn from their mistakes. This printer will be such an important tool to help us make color centers that we can use over and over again and to create amazing art projects.
Seeing color helps bring learning to life!
My students love to use colorful worksheets, and I like to bring color to my classroom. Using colors when working with words and other things in the classroom really helps students understand and gives meaning to the learning process. This printers will allow me to produce vibrant and engaging materials for my amazing kindergarten students. Many of the activities we use in our reading and math stations need to be printed in color before the students use them. A printer is super important to have in the classroom as it saves time and lets the students be more independent. Schools do not have color printers, so I always spend my own money to print activites in color. It would be nice to have help to give my students what they need. Please consider donating to our project!
