Extra Clothes, Please!

My Students

Every child deserves the opportunity to receive the best education possible. Usually, the early years of learning can become the most influential for their future. At a young age, learning the basics such as social-emotional development, mathematical practices, and literacy skills provides the opportunity to expand children's foundational skills, setting them up to be successful throughout their schooling.

I work in a Head Start Pre-K classroom with 15 amazing children.

Almost all of our students are from low-income households, with many living in or near poverty.

My Project

Teaching Preschool, my students are only 3-5 years old. At times they are having so much fun learning they forget to use the bathroom. We have many types accidents of students spilling milk, water, food or paint. Sometimes they have bathroom accidents or aren't feeling well.

I would love to have some extra clothes to give to them to change into.

Sweatpants, leggings, and underwear are the easiest and fastest things to change into. Snow pants are sometimes needed in the winter months. Extra clothes are always necessities with little ones. With extra clothes in the classroom, our students are able to be changed and not have to be in wet or dirty clothes all day!
