This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our classroom is in great need of a classroom library where students can go and add to their knowledge by reading books different from the standard curriculum. These books will give students a chance to explore different cultures and appreciate the differences in our current society. As we develop the library we will continue to add books related to culture and how society has affected our way of living and how rich we are regardless of our current circumstances. As we develop the in-class library, we will explore people, places and realize our commonalities and differences.
