This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our school hosts a free extended day program after school from 2:15-4:00 p.m. and I run an SEL program which is open to all high school students.
I run Jewelry Club in order to have a safe haven for students after school where they can build positive relationships.
My town has been generous in supporting us by providing free/donated jewelry kits, storage kits, tools and equipments. Please help me provide students with healthy and fun snacks they can have during our Jewelry Club and for the road. As a title 1 student, we offer free breakfast and lunch for our students. I would like to provide snacks since many walk home or take public transportation with no guarantee there will be a third meal.
