Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My beautiful and creative students deserve the opportunity to express themselves as far as their imaginations will take them. This project will provide them with construction paper, pencils, tissue paper and chenille stems in every beautiful shade of beige, black and brown. With these materials they'll be able to create different expressions of themselves without material impediments.
We were given beautiful books that feature exquisite black and brown faces, and it is important that we have these art materials, so that we can create visual artistic responses to this amazing literature.
My sweet and sensitive students have vivid imaginations, and I want their creative expression to know no bounds.
