My second grade students are the best! Despite their personal challenges that they may be facing, they show up ready to learn every school day.
These art supplies and picture books will be used for students to express their creativity.
The picture books address topics such as inclusiveness and various feelings/emotions.
Due to the ongoing COVID pandemic and cold/flu concerns, I try to make sure that every student has their own personal calming tool set that they can use during quiet play time and/or indoor recess. I use the pencil case to store each students fidget toys, play doh, etc.
The construction paper, watercolors and crayons will be used for read aloud activities and other art projects. Art is a fantastic and fun way to engage all students in expressing their emotions and their creativity.
The knee high stockings, peat pellets and seeds will be used for our plant unit lesson activities.
Lastly, the black bulletin board paper will be used to cover our outdated brown cabinets at the back of our classroom. It will also be used to decorate our bulletin boards and classroom door.
