Expressing Our Creativity Through Art

My Students

Two years ago we could never have imagined the stress and worry students would be facing today. We are working hard to catch up academically from time lost in school because of the pandemic, but the fears and worries of the world are heavy for students to bear. They need relaxing and creative ways to process those feelings.

My Project

Painting with watercolors has been a beautiful and fulfilling way for my students to relax, feel joy, and create something beautiful during an extremely stressful time. There is a reason the adults of the world took up new hobbies like bread baking and knitting during our global pandemic. We all need positive and creative ways to de-stress and refocus when there is so much to be fearful about. These supplies will allow our students have positive experience being able to express themselves through art. We display their art, so they can enjoy the beauty from each student.
