Help me give my students the opportunity to express themselves in various subjects through art.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Torres's classroom raised $218
This project is fully funded
Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My English Language Learners are very curious to learn. They grasp concepts within our multiple subject areas through art. They draw and write on the slates using the Expo Dry Erase markers. They also cut and glue the two parts together when we are adding in Math. They truly enjoy putting puzzles together which is a wonderful way to to use the skill of matching objects, using fine motor skills and drawing. Students will use the materials to create a puzzle using the pictures, coloring them with the crayons and gluing them onto construction paper.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
