This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Our students are ready to start a new school year and my heart beats fast with excitement. It is my main goal to help my students go to the next academic level. How? By exposing them to the best experiences that will spark their imagination and promote a solid academic and social foundation during the time they are under my wings, at home or in school.
My students are unique, and they come from different social, cultural, and linguistic backgrounds.
Our students are also at different academic levels ranging from early learners to late learners. Our new class in school includes students with special needs. As a teacher, I'm constantly striving to bring the best experiences for my students. It makes me happy to make a difference in their lives!
My Project
Early exposure to letters is essential during the early years and is a foundational part of learning how to read. With the acquisition of the new set of alphabet/ anchor charts from tpt, our student will learn the alphabet and the letter sounds. This bundle includes a variety of pictures/ worksheets for students to practice beginning sounds and it will make learning fun. Letter recognition is important because it helps beginning readers to figure out how printed text is associated with the spoken language. Most importantly, the package includes a home connection for families to help the students practice t home.
