My Project
Two of the most significant impacts I see from the COVID-19 pandemic are the loss of in-person learning activities and the loss of learning opportunities outside of the classroom. One activity that I love offering my Photography II students--now that the strict closures of the pandemic have passed--is the chance to explore underwater photography! Living in Alaska, many of my student might never get the chance to explore warm waters and beaches much less taking a camera under the ocean waves. But I can offer them a field trip to our local pool with our classroom cameras! This might be the only chance my students ever have to take a camera underwater and these housings make the entire experience possible!
