Exploring Two Language!

My students need " Bilingual Rug" to reinforce their learning connection between the English and Spanish language. Students also need the " Bilingual Rug" to sit and interact with the Smartboard reading and math learning time.

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are new arrivals from different Spanish countries. They come from low-income families. I have 17 students who have a lot of energy and are ready to learn. They love to explore and have a lot of curiosity.

These children have needs that our school is trying to fulfill, but it can be challenging because we don't have enough funds.

With the materials that we have, we try to make it work, however, we need science and math tools to enhance their learning and skills. I want them to explore and be able to discover and open their mind to new tools and be able to create their own ideas.

My students are a big a part of my life, and I want to have an impact on their learning journey!

My Project

The "Bilingual Rug" will come alive to reinforce students' background with the new second language. It will help them to interact and it will be used as a bridge between Spanish and English.

The Bilingual Rug enhances the interaction between the teacher, students and learning during the new era of technology.

Every day students sit during circle time and it will be wonderful to have this amazing rug to engage them in a comfortable learning environment.

The "Bilingual Rug" can help them to have their own space and improve their behavior through the learning process.
