Exploring to Learn Through Our Senses and Play

Help me give my students new fine motor,visual motor and sensory exploration materials to discover and continue to learn from as they continue to adjust back to a school environment.

My Students

Many of the students I work with have special needs and while some are happy to be at school others find school and the social aspect of being back in the classroom and engaging in learning materials very challenging. Our students

are working every day in their school environment to expand on their abilities to learn and interact with their peers through modeling, exploration and play.

My Project

The products selected will help to continue to engage my students back to learning through play and sensory/motor exploration helping to provide a fun classroom environment while promoting socialization and peer interaction with interactive group opportunities.

Many of my students are continuing to work on their foundational pre-k and k skills including hand manipulation skills/strengthening, sorting, color and letter matching/recognition building strength in their foundations to promote continued growth and learning.

With challenges for so many to maintain attention/focus, novel and fun activities where they can “play to learn” while many are simultaneously “learning to play” are always greeted with smiles!
