My students need the Scholastic Magazine, Storyworks, to help them become stronger readers on a variety of topics. Includes fiction, nonfiction, poetry, and dramas.
My students enter ready to participate in class and continue their learning. They also have the best smiles on their faces.
I want my students to grow as learners, but also grow to be more independent. I want my students to gain confidence in themselves.
My students are an exciting bunch.
They are very enthusiastic in what they are learning. They try their best on their assignments. They are learning how to communicate effectively in groups. They are very sweet 4th graders, ready to learn.
My students go to school in Kernersville, NC. They are also in an Inclusion classroom, which means some of my students have special needs. They work hard every day to grow as learners.
My Project
I will use these resources everyday in my classroom. My students will use these readers to learn necessary reading skills. I will use these readers to help them understand a variety of texts on interesting topics. The teacher's guide offers wonderful questions, which can be differentiated for my students for each reading.
My students will also learn how exciting reading can be. They will learn how you can learn about anything by reading. It is so important at this age to expose them to as many genres and different texts as possible.
Donations to this project will help my students understand that people in the world care about them.
These donations will help my students improve their reading skills and gain more confidence in themselves. I am an avid believer in helping children find their greatness. I believe in challenging children to explore the world.
