My students need 2 Tablets to use during reading and math workstations. The tablets will allow them access to many online books and math games to increase knowledge of our math content.

My Students
I proudly teach at Title-1 poverty campus in the heart of downtown Houston, where I am truly believe I have the best students in the world. Because of the area in which I work, my students often go without. My daily mission is to make them feel special in every way possible!
Our mission, which we read everyday, says the person I will focus on being better than, is the "me" of yesterday!!
I truly believe they strive to meet this challenge daily. Despite their living conditions, the lacks of their lives, they find the positive in all things.
I had the pleasure of looping up from second to third with my babies! Currently, I am teaching third grade Math and Science, which is a brand new experience for me! My students are eager to learn the new curriculum and excited to meet and surpass any challenge I place before them!
My Project
The goal for our district, Houston ISD, is to create college ready students who are global learners. Having access to the latest technology will definitely help achieve this goal. Currently, we do not have enough technology for all our students and classrooms. Most of our technology doesn't have the latest software and doesn't allow easy access for out students.
Donating to this project will ensure my students have multiple ways of learning and practicing skills covered in class; thus, enhancing their thinking ability and enhance the learning process.
