My Project

The children in my classroom are 4 and 5 year old students who are full of excitement as they embark on their educational journey! My students are part of a wonderful and loving school family.

Understanding different cultures and communities is vital in developing true empathy and respect for the world around us!

The goal of this project is for my students to "travel" and explore different parts of the world as well as learn about new cultures, artists, landmarks, and so much more! The City Explorer books allow students to "step inside" different cities around the world and learn about what's important and special about that city and culture. The Meet the Artist books introduce students to famous artists from throughout the world, and teach them about the different techniques each artist is famous for. These books will allow for a student focused introduction to our amazingly diverse world!
