Exploring the World of Visual Art

Help me give my students brushes, watercolor paper, paints and other essential art supplies to explore the amazing world of visual art!

My Project

My second-grade students currently don’t have consistent access to art lessons. Due to budget cuts, we share one art teacher who rotates between three schools every two weeks. The students absolutely love art, and their excitement when it's finally our turn is truly heartwarming.

I believe every student should have the chance to explore the world of visual art.

As a teacher, I’m passionate about incorporating art into our lessons, and it adds such joy to our learning throughout the year.

The watercolor papers will allow us durable paper to play with using such mediums as tempera paint, oil pastels, and gel sticks. The paintbrushes will be strong enough to use with painting projects. The set comes with several sizes which will make painting even more exciting. The sharpie sets will provide a vibrant coloring experience for my class as well.

With all of these materials, I’ll be able to teach art even when our art teacher isn’t available. While I’m not a trained artist, I have a deep love for art, and creating it brings me a sense of pride and joy. I want to provide my students with endless opportunities to explore different forms of art and ignite their own creativity. Thank you in advance for your generosity.
