it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Virtual Reality has been making an impact in many ways across a multitude of platforms. Imagine participating in a meeting and feeling as if you are there with your colleagues even though they are spread out across the globe. Or exploring the cruise ship you are about to set sail on weeks before your trip. In education, it can be used to give students access to topics and places that otherwise would not be possible. For example, students can explore places around the world in an immersive experience using sight and sound. They can walk around and through the great pyramids of Egypt or explore the International Space Station all from the classroom.
Imagine students able to tour and interact with items in the room of Anne Frank while they read her book.
Or being able to study the intricacies of the human body layer by layer and in great detail from their high school classroom. The applications seem almost limitless. And with companies like Verizon and XR Terra generating materials and software for educators, students are given the opportunity to have experiences they would not otherwise have.
