My Project
Many of my students have never ventured far beyond their neighborhood, and their understanding of the world is limited to what they see in their daily lives. By providing subscriptions to Time for Kids, SuperSTEM, and Scholastic, along with digital content, students will be able to stay up to date with current events, explore different careers, and understand global issues.
I aim to open their eyes to the diversity and beauty of the world around them.
What if they could see more? Imagine my students learning about people from different cultures, reading about the latest technological breakthroughs, and discovering exciting career paths they never knew existed. These magazines will spark curiosity, help them connect with the world, and empower them to explore topics outside their immediate environment. They’ll gain access to content that shows them what’s possible beyond their daily lives and gives them a broader view of the world.
Additionally, two mystery books set in national parks will spark their imaginations and connect them to nature. These materials will provide opportunities for students to see what is out there, ignite their curiosity about the world, and inspire them to dream beyond their surroundings. By learning about other cultures, professions, and places, they will gain a greater understanding of their potential and the limitless opportunities awaiting them.
