it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Every year, my students complete self-guided research about World War 2, followed by readings of the The Diary of Anne Frank. To make history come alive, I am humbly asking for funding for a VR headset, which will allow students to go on virtual tours of "The Secret Annex" (the building where Anne Frank and her family hid from the Nazis during The Holocaust). Additionally, we are requesting funding for classroom books related to World War II.
This project will help my students utilize VR technology to explore Anne Frank's "Secret Annex" without traveling to Amsterdam - it will be such a touching and incredible experience for all of them!
