My Project

Let’s transform our classroom into a bustling kitchen laboratory with all the right tools! My students aren't just following recipes; they're conducting experiments and exploring the magic of science through the art of cooking. Flour becomes more than just a powder as they see how it binds ingredients together. Sugar isn't just sweet; it sparks a chemical reactions that transform textures and flavors. From beginning to end my students will mix and observe the chemical reaction when baking cupcakes in the counter top oven.

The thrill of a physical reaction is often best experienced firsthand.

It's about witnessing how matter transforms. What better way to explore this concept in a fun and engaging way than by making ice cream? Let's use the power of the class ice cream maker to witness a physical reaction in delicious way. My students will be able to observe how the liquid mixture of cream, sugar, and flavorings undergoes a fascinating physical change, solidifying into a creamy, frozen treat right before their eyes. These young scientists are discovering fundamental scientific principles in a way that is engaging, delicious, and unforgettable. Suddenly, learning about chemical and physical reaction becomes incredibly delicious! The best part - They get to eat their experiments! Yum!
