Exploring the Magical World of Transportation on a Field Trip!
My students need help paying the admission fees to Adventure City. This field trip will bring fun and excitement to our theme unit of Transportation and Travel.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I have had the opportunity to work in a preschool collaborative classroom with a co-teacher who teaches preschool special education. The opportunities that have been presented in this setting have been very beneficial to all teachers and students participating in this collaborative program.
We work with both general education and special education students.
They love to share and learn about what makes us all different and unique.
Our classroom is full of students who learn eagerly through structure and play. We celebrate our commonalities and our differences every day.
My Project
Our Transportation and Travel unit is an exciting theme for our students. We will be working on classroom activities and home projects covering Transportation and Travel.
Since preschool students learn mostly through play and hands-on activities, we want to take them on a field trip to an educational theme park, Adventure City, to experience transportation in a new and exciting way! This project will pay for the admission fees to Adventure City.
Our students rarely have the opportunity of visiting educational theme parks or theme parks in general with their parents.
We want to provide this opportunity by choosing Adventure City as our one field trip for this school year.
