My Project

I am excited to start a new unit on the Lunar New Year with my preschoolers. We will explore art and culture as we learn more about the Lunar New Year. I am requesting basic art materials in order to ensure that we have everything that we need to start painting and creating artwork for our New Year celebration. The art smocks will be used to protect the children's clothing while they are painting. I will wear an apron as well in order to model wearing protective clothing to the children. The plastic table cloth will be used to protect the floor from the paint. These materials will help my students develop their fine motor skills. Painting will help prepare them to hold a pencil.

The art materials will be used for the children to create their own Lunar New Year artwork.

These materials will also promote creativity and imagination. I cannot wait to see what my students create.
