My Project
My students love to make craft projects. Almost every holiday, we try to celebrate by teaching the traditions of the holiday while doing a craft with my students. Many of the projects I do have a Math or ELA component to them which demonstrates their understanding of the standards we are learning, while also allowing them express their creativity. In past projects we have made factor trees for Christmas, an All About Diwali writing piece and more.
With Valentine's Day, Presidents Day, Eid al-Fitr and more coming up I am requesting toner and supplies to keep the tradition in our classroom alive of incorporating creativity with learning in mind!
Toner will enable me to informative print coloring sheets and the stories and reports my students write about holidays. The construction paper, tape, sheet protectors as well as the arts and craft supplies will be used by students to make holiday specific art projects.
