This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Our school serves students in grades K-5 from low social and economic backgrounds. We have at least 75% of our students on free or reduced price breakfast and lunch.
Our school opens the doors to a world of challenge and discovery.
The students spend their years here learning the foundation of knowledge and skills they will need as they move forward in advanced studies.
We provide our students with rigorous academics, fantastic teachers and a safe learning environment. Our goal is to prepare our students for success in high school and college.
My Project
As we are a STEM academy, the use of a 3D printer will give students the opportunity to embrace the Engineering aspect that we have not been able to create with many of the COVID restrictions.
Students from all walks of life have the ability to create and better the world around them.
Having and using a 3D printer will open the students' eyes to the endless possibilities that await them. The students at my school and in my classroom don't often realize the abilities they possess if they are not tested abilities, and a 3D printer will be a step in the direction of discovery.
