My Project
As a first-year kindergarten teacher, I am working to create a classroom where curiosity, creativity, and learning through play take center stage. My goal is to provide hands-on opportunities that inspire young minds to explore the world around them. STEM bins are the perfect way to introduce science, technology, engineering, and math concepts in a fun and age-appropriate way.
These materials will give my students the chance to build, create, and problem-solve every single day.
With items like magnetic blocks, straw constructors, and interlocking gears, my students will be encouraged to collaborate, take risks, and think critically—all while developing important fine motor and social-emotional skills. I’ve seen how much joy and engagement these kinds of materials bring during open-ended play, and I’m excited to bring that energy into our daily routine.
