This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Many of my special education students struggle during STEM activities due to the loud noises, teamwork, anxiety and more. I want to foster STEM opportunities in my classroom, with these various STEM kits, so that my students are still able to succeed and have the experiences that all other students are able to experience. My classroom is an encouraging and sensory aware classroom that will help eliminate barriers for my students who may struggle. Many of my students thrive in creative settings, especially when they are given the appropriate tools to explore their curiosity. Please help me make this dream come true for me and my students!
